Did you ever start drinking early in the day, take a break and then find it impossible to get drunk later on. That happened to me Friday. Started a new job Monday, had company picnic on Friday. Started drinking at 2, stopped around 5.30 and started up again about 6.30. Could not get drunk after that. Until about 1 and then I was a pile instantly.

Yep. In college we'd get up at like 6AM to tailgate for football games. Drink, go to the game, come home and take a nap. Wake up, get cleaned up and go out drinking. Couldn't get drunk no matter how much we drank.

Just got a 4% raise, retroactive from Jan 2012, and another 6% (of current salary) coming later this year, retroactive from Sept 2012 ... that calls for after work drinks!

I played and went to nearby Coe in Cedar Rapids. Some of my best buddies went to Iowa and would always go there to party. When I graduated, I worked and lived in Des Moines for close to 3 years and always came back to Iowa City to tailgate.

Always a great fucking time in Iowa City my friend! Iowa tailgates are the best. :D
