my 'guy' said that the distributer told him this is it.

so either they are planning on not getting him any more which would make it even more limited, or its kegs only. Or I guess they could not know yet.

Finally... some GOOD news from State College/Penn State!

If any of you are looking for a case... as of this morning, Pletcher's in State College, PA received 14 cases. Not kidding. Got mine about a 1/2 hour ago, and I asked the guy how many he had left... he said 9.

So... there are 9 cases still left there as far as I know. They are going for $111 a case. If you want one, and are close to central PA, cal 'em and have them set one aside for you.

Just got some in Flemington NJ at Bourbon Street Wine & Spirits at 326 Rt 31.

They ordered it after I told them about it. They have 6 or 7 bottles left and are selling it for $12.99.

    Regards, Andrew
  • Just got back from Uptown Liquor, Whittier, California and grabbed the last 2 they had.

    So stoked right now :D:D:D
  • Got word from Dogfish Head today (via Twitter) 2nd Batch is brewing now....

  • REALLY hard to get around here.. and I'm in PA, neighbor to DE. Thanks to a tip from KillTaker, I was able to get it at a local 6-pack shop who was limiting it to 1 bottle a customer. I bought the last bottle, and that was 1 day after they got it. I called every other distributor in the area and they all said they had no chance of getting it. Long story short-- if you can get your hands on it, GET IT. Cause it's ridiculously hard to come by. And a HUGE THANK YOU to KillTaker for the heads-up. I love the people on here

My lovely wife was kind enough to hit up the Whole Foods in Wayne, PA for me on the way home from work last night and they were sold out! They gave her the names of a few other places nearby that may have been carrying and ALL of them were sold out too!

My buddy had a friend go buy me one in DE, but I can't pick it up for a while. Plus, I wanted my own stash of a few bottles.

    I guess I'll keep searching...

so they said they're making more

did they say if it was bottles?

    or is it kegs?

Likely both, as that's been the case with Hellhound and Bitches Brew.
  • so.there is a way to get one?..

Finally got some in New Jersey, tastes good!
  • Anyone in the Baltimore Washington area, 177 Liquor in Pasadena (The Dirty Dena) Maryland has 6 bottles remaining and the owner said "nada mas" after they are gone. He has a 6 bottle purchase limit....so hurry. I brew beer for a local brewery (apprentice brewmaster) and its not too bad, a bit sweat for my taste, but most Dogfish is malty. Anywho, Cheers.

i bought my faithfull ale tonight in jersey for $17.99 ! A tad over the retail price of 12.50 but oh well. It's going to be a part of my birthday dinner this sunday. Hopefully it tastes a ok.

The store I went to only got one case and was down to one bottle after my purchase.

Percentage wise thats a pretty big markup. That's basically paying $12 for a beer and then $6 for half a beer. I don't blame you for getting it, but these distributors really know how to take advantage of their customers.

Anybody got any news or findings in Ohio at all?

As far as Columbus goes, it looks like November 15/16 or the 22nd/23rd will be the day that some stores will be receiving it. I went to two different places, and they both said they're only getting one case each, and that's it. One place told me not to mention who they were to anyone, and the guy didn't even want to spill the beans about the release to me at first. He's been getting a lot of calls and knows there will be insanity, so he's hoping people just figure it out by coming in rather than announcing the exact hour they will go on sale.

Picked up a few bottles in southern Jersey. The guy was totally clueless. Barely spoke English and didn't even know how much to sell them for at first. He said they didn't have it but then I told him the internet says otherwise. Eventually, he found them somewhere in the stockroom.
  • At Hop City in Atlanta. 1 per customer.
Should hit Greens and others today.

  • Does anyone know if it has arrived in the Chicago area yet?

Talk about markup... one of my local stores here in Maryland had it on the shelf for $29.99 a bottle! I almost shit my pants!!!

Definitely a huge mark up! I was actually mad at myself for buying it at this price.
