roy williams is the worst. he just reeks of douche. I'm so glad they lost yesterday

    wrong.
    right.

roy sucks. right up there with izzo and pitino for least favorite coach.

can't stand roy williams. calipari is another one i dislike vehemently. never had a problem with izzo though.

Nice. I was able to backdoor my way into the prize money as well. Only 20 dudes in my pool...only 2 of us picked even one final four team. Dude that won it has uconn winning it all, so he crushed everyone. I had kentucky in the final four, which got me 3rd place and my entry fee back. I'll take it

Butler shot 18.8% from the floor. Matt Howard was 1-13.

    Ouch

    I can't believe it! :D

I have to give it up to Brad Stevens and the entire Butler team for a season. He's a great coach and he will definitely win championships.

love college hoops but that was just awful to watch. no matter how good the defense Division 1 players should never shoot that poorly. i could have gone out there last night and show 1-13. pathetic.

as much as i dislike Calhoun got to give them a lot of credit. 5 games in 5 days in the Big East tourny then still have enough in the tank to win 6 in the NCAA tourny. just an awesome run they had. Walker just an absolute beast.

I watched the second half with the same morbid fascination of seeing a bad car wreck on the side of the road. Unbelievable that they didn't score in the paint until 13 minute into the 2nd half! Butler is lucky they didn't lose by 50.

Too bad. Doesn't make any sense as they were getting open shots.

14-0 in tournament play and undefeated in out of conference play also. Spectacular.

At least the 2002 National Championship between Indiana and Maryland no longer holds the distinction as the worst championship game ever.

saw this but to me the video shows the Chinese players are way more out of control than the Georgetown players. Chinese guys were picking up chairs and shit and that one guy was stomping the dude from Georgetown. pretty scary seeing the video of it - if the stands had been more packed that could have been nuts.

When do pre-season rankings come out? Soon, right?

Don't know about AP or coaches, but here's some guy named Parrish:

Interesting. Never heard of him. The AP and Coaches poll might put UConn in the top 5.

Parrish is ok...not the best, but certainly not the worst college bball writer.

I'm inclined to believe that those rankings are his final rankings from last year. There are too many teams on that list that lost important players for that to be current (San Diego St, BYU, VCU, Butler). Plus, some of his latest blogs make me think he's going to put UNC and Kentucky in the top 2 spots.

As for AP and coach polls, I think they come out the first or second week of November.
