  • I don't have them but I do have a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Greatest Hits CD. Tom Petty is great.

I've seen him in concert 2 or 3 times. You really can't go wrong there.

I was always a casual Petty fan, but this dvd gave me such a huge perspective, and I have a whole new respect for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Such an amazing band.

Everything you ever wanted to know bout them is in here. The part about Howie's death is sad to watch. What a talent he was; the perfect vocal compliment to Tom. America's truest Rock & Roll band indeed. On a side note, I'd love to see a 4hr documentary about Bruce and his E Street Band.

I haven't been able to watch this again for awhile but did last night.  What a great musician and band.  What a huge loss to the world of music with TP no longer with us.  One of the best music documentaries out there.

Absolutely agree. I watched it again about a month ago. Tom is sorely missed.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

  • I listened to a Tom Petty's live compilation of his greatest hits on a trail run today. It was absolutely mind blowing. I always loved his music in junior high and American Girl was kinda my high school anthem ;) Why did I never go see him??? My God. The live music just takes it to another level entirely. This is the compilation I listened to today.

I'm now on a personal quest to find the best live shows from Tom Petty and more specifically the best live version of Don't Come Around Here No More. That ^ live version with the piano and the crowd... beyond perfection.

    Any suggestions?

    Bump.

I would love a good live compilation album- especially a non-bootleg vinyl LP.
