Anyone seen this?

I just finished watching the whole series. I thought it was really good. It would be nice to see it spread across all of America.

I did see it when it was on tv every week for a short while. I thought it was really cool and it would be great if it spread and people actually cared what themselves and their children were eating.

jamie oliver is brilliant. anybody who tries to change the daily diet of children today is okay in my book. its a shame people, though not all, seem content to take the 'easy' way out when it comes to feeding childrens 'nutrition'.

He can be annoying, like when he calls everyone 'brother', but generally I think he's o.k.

    Alice

I couldn't believe it when the kids didn't know what a tomato was - or a potato, or a cauliflower.

What I could not believe was the fact that the government nutritionists considered french fries a vegetable...granted they are made from potatoes...but really...are they the veggie part of your meal? I loved this show, but was glad that I was in charge of my kids lunches and not some crabby lunch ladies with their mashed potato pearls. ;)
  • His earlier show when he used to get trashed and throw dinner parties at his flat was much better.

Good that he is trying to help take out the horse testicles and insert real food into the school cafs and for trying to educate people that real food is not more expensive then junk food.

i dont even consider potato to be a vegetable. i know it is, but in my house, its a given that when i mention veges i dont mean potatoes, though they will be on the plate.
