O'Reilly: "Do I have to wear a costume if I come to this rally on October 30th?"

Stewart: "You can dress up as a guy pretending to still be blue collar."

why is o'reilly ripping on his book? probably because he is not intelligent enough, or too full of himself to get the satire...i like how he kept calling stewart's audience "dope dealers" and stewart asks "dope dealers? what is this starsky and hutch??"

..."dope dealers" and stewart asks "dope dealers? what is this starsky and hutch??"

And what about "the regular folks"? That phrase couldn't be used in a more shallow and generalized way...

Sadly, Stewart is 80x the "news" man Billdo is.

Billdo doesn't even realize Jon is owning him.

He knew it from the beginning, his fake laugh and nonsensical comments, like he was too smart and more informed than John, what a sore loser.

i will never forget back in 2001, oreilly berating the son of a 9/11 victim. the boy, or young man i should say, was saying how while the attacks were tragic he didnt want afghanistan attacked in his fathers name. oreilly tried to make out that his father would be embarassed by his sons stand. but the young man said no his father would have been proud of him. but no bill insisted that he was wrong is his assertions but he couldnt get the young man to budge from his position. it was a beautiful thing to see oreilly flustered but it really was a jerkoff move on his part. fancy being so arrogant to try to second guess a fathers son about what his father would feel.

  • Stewart seemed so frustrated by that whole thing... Bill O doesn't give him a chance... And just looks like an asshole in the process.

Am i the only one who saw this just as a joke. I don't think Jon was frustrated with bill. i would bet that Jon knows Bill and knows what to expect.

Clearly, talking to Bill is like talking to a wall: anyone would get frustrated because the guy doesn't listen to a word anyone says. But I bet Jon does expect this.

Finally got around to watching this....

How do you have an intelligent conversation with somebody that only wants to skim the surface with over generalizations? It absolutely blows my mind that people could support somebody like this....

I believe O'Reilly will be on The Daily Show tonight to talk about his latest book, "Pinheads and Patriots."

Its funny, O'Reilly seemed way more civilized on Stewart's show.

yuck... anti-drug argument regarding LSD with a guy saying that "you might jump out a window on LSD." That has happened between two to five (2 - 5) times, depending on the source and who you believe, out of the literally MILLIONS of people who've done it and most have done it more than once. I'm no proponent but it is safer than alcohol by a factor of 1000. The "just say no" culture is still running rampant... eek.
