'In My Tree' Background Vocals...

So in my feeble attempts over the last 14 years to try and figure out how this bridge/vocal arrangement goes, I have no idea what in the bloody hell Stone and Jeff are singing.

Any thoughts? Guesses? Answers? Funny ad-libs?

(ironically, the words 'i remember when i thought i knew everything' certainly ring true here!!!)

i looked this up as well, took me about 17 seconds, and to me the words that are sung do not at all sound like the what's written down. i've thought that for years now.
