oh what i wouldnt do for some of her spit..... :P

pretty sad that PJ fans are SO annoying that this had to happen... IMO, if its not something thrown to you by someone in the band (pic, drumstick, etc.) i dont know why you'd want it... never understood those vultures that stick around after the show yelling at techs and stagehands... real meaningful souvenir there

I think the setlist is funny and the guy is right. Just look at this board. People are always asking for more and more and more. I'm sure this guy gets hounded for things every night and not always in the most polite way.
I'm sure people are yelling to him for picks/setlists/whatever... but the reality is this happens at EVERY show for ANY band. People try to get anything they can thats left on the stage - its just the reality of the 'business' of the show.

Just seems unnecessary to yell at fans who are asking... just ignore them. Just my opinion - just seems like a jackass thing to do to yell at fans for 'wanting more' when they are paying $80 for a ticket, $35 for a shirt, $30 for a poster, etc... not to mention it takes him more time and energy to yell at fans than to just ignore them.

What you bring up is exactly what the setlist he wrote says: you pay for the show, not the setlist. You don't know what the fans were yelling at him either.

It apparently is nobody's writing. When I saw the setlist (just saw it, didn't read it) sitting by the lighting board, I said, "oh, look, it's even in Ed's writing." To which someone there replied" Well, sort of. It's a special font they use."

I'll bet we could find it - it really amounts to someone typing out the set list before the show and passingg it around. Then rather than just doing the same thing off the internet, people beg for it.

I'm sure they do read this board, and I'd bet - at least based on Boom's setlist - that they think we are all crazy.

It's definitely not a font, unless that font randomises how the same letter looks as well.

That's a fair point, but it seems like that guy gives fans some of his mind whether they ask politely or rudely based on posts here.

Either way - I think its unnecessary but like you said I guess its hard to know what happened to prompt the fake setlist deal.

The sets are physically written by Ed.

I'm really not a collector. I'm inclined to give away stuff I get handed to me.

This is the one setlist I would love.

I would love it more if it said 'Fuck you, twats' and had that scratched over like a cancellation.:lol:

The setlists aren't a font, they're definitely hand-written - but not by Ed.

I could be wrong, but I think they're done by Kevin Schuss from the crew.

Obviously Ed (or another band member) picks the actual song order, however.

Setlists are cool. Everytime I see our setlist framed with our poster and tickets and picks, it reminds me of when my wife and I scored flukey front row seats to see them in Melbourne. WHy wouldn't you want a souvenir from the show?
