    Awful.
Fuck pinch runners.  Bit their ass for 2 losses
For sure but Bichette couldn’t run at all.

What a great game and series
I get why they did it but man Bichette was on fire.

I had said if he gets hot the Jays have a chance.

Taking him out may have cost them.

Can we talk about yammamoto though?  Dude said he was available in game 5 after pitching a complete game the night before.

He comes in for relief and gets the win in game 7.  That is one hell of a feat.

Also game 6 and 7 ended in double plays.  One was more egregious than the other though.

    GREAT SERIES.

Isiah Falefa's got some explaining to do ...  guess he already tried the obvious tactic of throwing his managers under the bus.  Still, you got fat max standing 5x further away ... plus sliding on a force play at home plate ... as a pinch runner.  Doh!

is it still legal to go full Pete Rose into a catcher these days?  Probably couldn't have in this situation but that, theoretically, would have been awesome

I went over this with people too.  I thought he was close to the bag so he wouldn't get doubled up on a line drive.  That's the only thing I could come up with.

Baseball changed the rules of blocking Homeplate.  You can't anymore so no more barreling down the catcher.
It changed when Posey got his leg broken.

I don't have a problem with them all getting in. I'd let Mattingly in if Fernando does.

Everyone else should have been in already.

I'm surprised Delgados WAR is so low.  Was he that one dimensional as a player?

Seems about right. If he were a shortstop he'd probably have a higher WAR. 17 years and barely over 2000 hits. A lot of homeruns but not huge numbers
