Our cops do not and none from the 70-20110's did either.  Last couple of years they have laxed some.

Whodathunk that Utah would be progressive?
    I don’t think it’s “progressive.” I think it’s wild west mentality.

So, as you know so far, will the Orioles be better in 2025 vs 2024?

They should gel and get better.  Hopefully no Sophomore slump. Hoping Holiday gets his act together.

They do stand to lose Corbin Burnes from the rotation however.

I think so and they didn't have to give up one of their Top 3 or 4 Prospects. Some have Teel 4 or 5 prospect.

But it will be better if they can sign Crochet to an extension (2 more years of control right now).
  • Mets have no path out of the NL, so you don't need to worry about the Yankees in the World Series
You definitely don’t need to worry about the Yankees in the World Series, is right.

I’m afraid they may regress. Sorry; I like the O’s.

Good work here. Yankees will be fine. The sky is not falling. They lost the 2nd best player on the team

It's crazy that the Mets are the dominant NY baseball franchis now with more money and better players.

You are great at that, continuing to call Mr 184 the best player in NY!

Seriously Judge is an intimidating hitter, but Soto brings what the Mets need, patience to the plate. His eye is so good as u know, he can intimidate umpires. When the Mets were floundering in mid may, they got JD off the injured list, and he demonstrated to the team how to work the count. Even tho JD eventually went into a deep slump, that stretch defined their season.
  • I remember when the Mets were able to take the Dodgers to game 6 last year and the Yankees couldn’t.

That was before the Mets had Juan Soto and the Yankees had him. Good times!

Yankees - please take Teoscar from the d**gers. Thank you. Take Christian Walker, too.

  • Where is Alonso going to end up?  I like him as a Met but he wasn't the best, neither was Mc Neil yet the team somehow found a way into the playoffs...

Sengai will be healthy next year too.

    Should be fun to watch.

Nothing too surprising in the study released about the rise in pitchers getting injured, but looking at those numbers the last 20 years is staggering. It sucks to try and be a successful pitcher in today's baseball world. The league wants to favor hitting because higher scores and more homers bring in the revenue.

    It's a hopeless situation...

If you pitch, they want you to throw w demon speed.  We have discussed this.  Players like Maddux aren't looked at anymore.

If you have a kid, teach him to throw a knuckle ball.  Teach him to master it.  He will have a 20 year career in the MLB.
