I don't hate clemens as much as some do. I always loved watching him pitch. it will be pretty damn funny though if he and his wife both end up going to prison

It's gotta be the Cubs, but loving the Yankess having serious interest.

A combo no-no by the M's tonight. There's pandemonium on Edgar Martinez Dr. tonight!

Millwood, Furbush, Pryor, Leutge, League and Wilhelmsen

I just heard this on ESPN. Kinda cool, glad former Phillie Kevin Millwood got the start. Was he on a pitch count or something though?

According to vegas, the favorites to win the NL pennant are none other than...............

    the Miami Marlins!!

    Miami +500
    DC +505
    Philly/LAD +550
    Cincy +600 (my pick)
    atlanta/STL +750

Wish the phils didn't suck so bad. Things are wide open folks

None of these teams are as good as the Nats. The NL is terrible.

Haven't the Marlins lost 5 in a row?

I would also say the Nats are the favs, followed by LA :?

I think the Nats and Braves are just as good as any team in the AL.

Look at the standings. Who is so good in the AL? At one point everyone was saying the Rangers...what happened to their record?

The AL bias is a little ridiculous. Look who won the last two World Series, and 3 of the past 4.

Who woul dhave thought the Pirates and Orioles would be playing a series in mid June trying to get back into first place instead of out of the cellar?

in fairness to the Pirates, they were doing the same thing last year at this time......hopefully they don't have a second half collapse this year. :fp:

my guess is they will. sooner or later the pitching will fail, and the hitting will continue to aweful.

Down to Cubs and Yankees for Soler, it sounds like. Come on Cashman. This kid could be a household name in his low 20's or he can waste away at Wrigley. GET IT DONE.

9 years? I am really surprised he would sign for that long. That seems like a really really good deal to me. Defintiely a risk, but say it takes him a two years to get to the big leagues. Then you have him for 7 years in what amounts to just over $4 mil a year of major league playing time.
