just going by who the Rockies and Dodgers are playing these final 3 games. Rockies have the Nats and Dodgers have the Giants. 

the nats are also rans, just like the giants, and I think they have about zero motivation to win. giants/d**gers is usually competitive, regardless of records.

nats were playing better. and the giants didn't even show up this weekend

Welp, no crown but a damn impressive second half of the season to put himself into position to do so! It’s fair to say after the month of September and propelling his team, especially in the last two weeks, to a Division title I have to concede my MVP vote to him now. Baez wasn’t much of a factor down the stretch when the Cubs needed him to be. The V in MVP has always held more ground with me than just the stat column alone. When the Brewers needed a late push, Yelich was there to provide it while Baez wasn’t for the Cubs. That’s what an MVP does, he shows up when needed most. Yelich did, Baez didn’t. He was the x-factor the Brewers needed to build upon last year’s success and get them over the hump. Yelich is MVP.
