  • Age of Spiritual Machines. 10-15 billion years ago, the universe was born. :)

Sorry man, my knowledge of Kurzweil doesn't extend past Our Lady Peace. But that particular book is staring at me from my bookcase right now. Haven't had the time for it yet.

Kurzweil is a eugenicist and Bilderberg scum, he predicts a world where computers inherit the human niche and praises mass extinction .

I found The Age of Spiritual Machines far more believable than the holy bible.

Actually come to think of it, I just might be a puddle full of detriment.

Moe, I'm not arguing the science, I'm arguing his suggested applications. There is much more to Kurzweil than just Age of Intelligent Machines/Age of Spiritual Machines. It's hard to argue against Moores Law.

To be honest, it's been a LONG time since I read the book and I'm sure I've forgotten some of the more far-fetched parts, but Moore's Law is really what stands out in my mind & while he may not be right on the money with the predicted rate of innovation, the trend is hard to argue with, as you said.
    Very interesting ideas though.
