Found this little YouTube clip- searched here & don't think it's been posted before:

"At the end of the 2003 season, Eddie Vedder, a close friend of then-first base coach Jose Cardenal, visited Cincinnati and agreed to play one song for the Reds in their home clubhouse after a 9-7 win against the Chicago Cubs. Enjoy..."

Pretty cool stuff. But what's up with Ed's hair? :D

Cool, thanks for posting. I knew this had happened, and had seem pictures of him at the game that day, but had not seen the video.
words seem so out of place.

my law school friend and I ditched class that day and drove from Chicago to Cincy to see the game (we were at lunch at didnt feel like going back for our last class). the Cubs were doing great and we decided to pull a Ferris Bueller. ended up getting tickets right behind the Cubs dugout for $40 a piece. great road trip despite having to see EV in a Reds jersey.

My two favorite things- EV and the Reds. I've got a pic of him from that game in a Reds uniform. It's a beautiful thing ;)

Did I meet you at Great American Ballpark (when the Cubs clinched the division) in September of 2008??
