You know you're a PJ Fanatic when...

  • When you take it upon yourself to make a PJ mix CD for your friends and the next day you ask them if they heard it and they say something like "not yet" or "it's pretty cool" but give you no details about what was so "cool" about it.
Down in the hole, Jesus tries to crack a smile beneath another shovel load.
  • I fall under so many of these it is comforting to know I am not alone.

You go through other people's iPods and the first thing you look for is IF they have any PJ on it and how much. Then silently judge them when they have only 2 SONGS!

I do this ALL THE TIME! It's my way of deciding if this person is even worth talking music with. If they like Pearl Jam, then they usually have a lot of the same musical tastes as me, and it's awesome friendship, here we come!

You roll up to your local music store and head straight to the "P" section of popular or alternative, just to see what Pearl Jam cds they have in stock. A habit of mine.

    I do that EVERYTIME! :p
Oh, if I knew where it was, I would take you there, but there's much more than this.
Ooooh. Whoooa, much more than this. Woooh see the world. Much more than... Oooh, much more than.. Why?

When you buy the album on the day of release in your local record shop just in case the 10club version doesn't arrive quite on time. (I have two copies of Self-titled and Backspacer because of this).
And when a friend asks if they can buy the spare you refuse :P

I was acutally listening to Smile from Athens 2006 at this moment - would it have been Leatherman I think I would have thought it's a sign from God (although I'm not very religious)

  • I know I'm a PJ fanatic when I go to Yahoo, and one of the headlines mentiones the IOC (International Olympic Committee), and I have to remember that those are letters- not 10C.

    This happened to me yesterday.

... When you wake up at 5:00 in the morning and rather than going back to sleep you haul the laptop back to bed with you and proceed to find all of the youtube footage you can from the last show you were at. Must be watched in order that the songs were played in the show to try to recreate the feeling. Then curse people for not having posted footage of all of the songs
