Why can't I view member profiles?

On the old pit, I used to always go to my own user profile to get to my posts but I can't access any profiles on this new site. I hate using the "view your posts" option on the top of the screen because that takes you to the thread but not the post......so sometimes you have to search through 20 pages. Anyone know how to change this option? Or can you just not view profiles on this new site? Kat never answers my PMs about this.

whats odd is that the post from sea was back in march
we are now almost half thru july and still ,

cant fix signatures either.

not those profiles. I'm talking about when you click a username and it shows their posts.

ohhh ok. see when i was anwsering i had a feeling i was probably misunderstanding.

you can’t do an advance search and put in somebody’s name to search for their post? (totally ignore that, if you’ve already tried)

Haha I just read this thread and without even trying to find out how you could search your old postings I found the answer
-> edit your profile -> show your posts (pretty much in the middle of the page)

list your URL in the website box. edit profile, settings....whatever it's one of those two.

I use my website (3w) bit for my blog though

seems odd you can't just click on someone's name or their avatar to get to their profile, that would be more intuitive, dontcha think?
