While the agents assigned to protect Obama and other principals are described as dedicated and valiant, Kessler asserts that in recent years the management of the agency "has betrayed its mission by cutting corners, risking the assassination of President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and their families," the publisher says. One current agent tells the author: "It's a miracle we have not had a successful assassination."

New Book Says Secret Service Cut Corners on Obama's Protection

You would think the SS would be on the top of their assignments with ALL the different hate groups coming forward wanting to bring harm to the President. Interesting hearing about the the escapes of Jenna Bush trying to duck the SS.

I get the feeling at times it's NOT entirely out of the possibility that this President could be assassinated.

    A successful assassination is what is needed to save our great country from the Monkey. Obama time for a date night maybe a ride in an convertable your god to the dems you can stop a bullet. I know I'am just wishful thinking but it would be nice for the USA.

    Obama has been President for six months.....President-elect for less than one year.....Presidential candidate for two-three years???....so, the management that has been apparently less than stellar would have also risked the assassination of Bush, Cheney, Clinton, McCain, Palin, and others???

    There is a kid in my hometown that my cousin goes to high school with and right after the election he posted some really bad things about what he would like to see happen to Obama. Sure enough that same night he got a knock on his door.
    Don't really know what happened after that but I can Imagine his parents weren't very happy with him.

    while that is true, if the moderators were consistant, and on top of things, you would like to think that the people causing the trouble wouldn't get further than one or two posts and then things wouldn't get too out of control.
