I saw that they're playing here in a few weeks and remembered this thread. I'm slowly working through their catalogue of music and really enjoy what I've heard. Unfortunately I forgot their complete works at home so whenever I get a chance I'll YouTube a new song. I am very tempted to catch their show so far.0

I caught them here in Phoenix at a little place called the Trunk Space... had enough room for maybe 30 people, tops. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Lots of energy. Very humble guys.6/27/98 - East Troy, WI

This record is amazing! One of my favorites of the year so far and very well could end up being my album of the year.0
-
I remembered to bring their collected works to work this morning so I'll be giving them a good listen. It won't take much to justify a $15 ticket to their show, but as of right now they're blowing me away.0
-
Post-Nothing was fantastic; I really felt the last three songs were the strongest. I'm starting No Singles right now, then on to the album you've all said is amazing, Celebration Rock.0
-
Alright, I've finished Celebration Rock. I really enjoyed it, and just like their first disc, I feel that the final three tracks are the strongest. I think they're worth my hard-earned $15 to see live.0

heard of them and i heard a song from their new album the other day on y-not radio (local internet station) sounded good. Forget what song it was though

If it wasn't for this thread I never would have given them a chance. I'm glad I did. Now I just need to get around to buying a ticket for their concert. My only problem is the Roger Waters show on the same day still has tickets available. This is a tough choice, though I've already seen the Wall live last time he did Toronto.0

There is an eighty dollar price difference that's making my decision easier.djklambake wrote:uninnocent- wrote:If it wasn't for this thread I never would have given them a chance. I'm glad I did. it really pisses me off that drek like One Direction costs $12 and for a band from my own country costs nearly $20. Why is Canadian music so fucking expensive in CANADA??? Same with Black Mountain and Pack A.D.Gimli 1993
