Are Digital Cameras allowed?

I was wondering if digital camera's are allowed at shows? Are they? Will there be a hassle if I bring one?

    Thanks. The camera I have has video recording on it and that's what was confusing me.

    in Berlin was easy to bring them in,,but in..he he,.,the security was hard....the put out people with profesional cameras..until NAIS,,after was dark and a chaos..
