Sound Check -- All Night - Marker In The Sand - No Way X 2-3 times - Unemployable - Green Disease. Great show. Ed changed the lyrics to Supersonic to being all about the Seattle Supersonics and leaving. Completely differnt lyrics. Said this was the 50th show in Seattle. Good night!! :D

PS -- Ed told a story about way back when he couldn't afford to pay for his tabs on his car's plates for like 3-4 years. He said he could spot the outline of a cop car from a mile and half away. Because of the fans, he can afford to pay his car tabs now. :D Mentioned his favorite record store in West Seattle - Easy Street records and then launched into Spin The Black Circle. Spoke about his daughters birthday tomorrow and it also being Bruce Springsteen's 60th. Said that The Who is one of Springsteen's favorites and then launched into The Real Me. Lots of energy. Ok, this is it this time. :) Good night!

Note to self: order Seattle 1 & 2 boots from 10c as soon as available. Sounds like 2 incredible shows (setlist-wise at least), and No Way - now how's that for a cherry on the cake!

Way better than last night in my opinion. The crowd seemed more into it and the band seemed to respond to that. Lots of call and response.
My favorite moment came when Mike posed for a picture right in the middle of Spin the Black Circle. Really funny. Is there anyone who has more fun than Mike?
Great to listen to No Way for the first time (I think). Maybe the played it Maui 98 or something?

Pretty sure this was show number 20 for me. I'll see some of you in Portland.

No Way...amazing, the drunk guy next to me actually went to the bathroom during it!! Unbelievable.

The crowd was great, the band was great, the set list was amazing. One of the best shows I've been to and no Evenflow!

Hell of a show...came away having enjoyed it more than show 1. Dusting off No Way was special...

Black was also great...enjoyed how Ed introduced it -- "...need something more upbeat...you're not so lucky...I want you to feel pain..."

Lukin...intro was longer than the song!

Porch rocked...Spin the Black Circle v. good...

    ---

Anyone here who gave Ed the book (?) and got a tambourine later? Just curious what was in it or what it was, if not a book.

    ---

In My Tree chorus alternate style, or whatever you might call it...Ed sped up lyrics.

It was my 20th show, too.

Night 2 definitely takes the cake IMO. No way? Come on! Sometimes, Present Tense, In My Tree, (Not for You was a great version), Porch, Faithful, Go

    and....

No evenflow? Interesting. It also wasn't that they just "played" no way...they NAILED it.

Thanks to those two ladies that passed along that J!

  • What a great night! So much better than the 1st night. The crowd was 50x better and the band was on fire all night.
Did anyone hear Jeff's bass when he started "Why Go".....Wow!!!!! That definately set the tone for the rest of the night. It was interesting to sit on the side of the stage.... I was in section 117 and could see down a straight line to the band. It was fun watching all of them having a good time and communicating to each other throughout the night. Are these guys in their mid 40's? They didn't show it tonight....they rocked out!!! So much energy!
I flew in from Amarillo, Texas for these shows for which I'm honored and happy that I saw them for my 12th and 13th time. Great job, Pearl Jam! Thank you!

P.S. "No Way" sounded like they've been playing it for years. Awesome!

night two was definitely a better setlist. where i was sitting, I was surrounded by guests of the bands and one girl had a copy of the setlist so it was kind of cool to know what was coming.
