In reviewing posts on this site over the past year I have seen people do lots of giveaways. They have been done in different ways, but the underlying theme has always been related to charity and sharing everyone’s passion for their favorite band. This inspired me to create this giveaway tied to a charitable donation. In exchange for your donation to the Crohn’s and Colitis foundation, you will be entered in to a drawing for the chance to win the 9/17/2011 Pearl Jam Winnipeg poster signed by the entire band!! I also have 2 other items which will go to the 1st and 2nd runner up!! These are a Mike McCready 2011 bobblehead, and a set of Mike’s white guitar picks!! All of these items were donated by Mike to raise money for the Crohn’s and Colitis foundation. Items will be shipped free and international entries are also welcome! I considered putting the poster on ebay, I have seen a similar poster sell for $1500, but I wanted to give a regular PJ fan the chance to own such an incredible item just for making a charitable donation.

Here is how to enter:

1. Click on the following link which will take you to my fundraising website to make a donation. Most charitable donations are tax deductible.

2. All donations of at least 25 dollars will be entered in to the drawing. The more you donate the more entries you will receive! You will receive 1 for $25, 3 for $50, 5 for $75 and 8 for $100.
3. PM me your name and the amount of your donation and I will be able to match that to the information on my donation site.
4. This begins now and will run through 9pm PST on October 29th, 2013.

On October 30th, 2013, all entries will go into a hat and 3 winners will be drawn. The first will be for the poster, the second for the bobblehead and the third for the picks. I will contact the winners via pm to verify their information and method of shipment and will then post the winners on this thread.

•The employer matching option will NOT give you extra entries for the giveaway however any way to increase the donation to such a great organization is greatly appreciated.

    This is awesome! :D Will definitely be donating/entering, but need to wait til Wednesday.

    CCFA is a clsoe to home charity, and I'm glad it is the beneficiary of this. :)

    Thank you all!! Waiting until Wednesday is fine. You all still have plenty of time. I know with everyone going to the shows and all of the great PJ stuff happening everywhere, people are busy so I wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to enter that wanted to! I agree, CCFA is an amazing organization. I am honored to be part of Team Challenge.

    Thanks Dimi!! Yes he will. It's off to a bit of a slow start but I know how generous pj fans are and how committed they are to coming together for a great cause so I know we will do it!! I'm over a third of the way to my goal. I hope to wake up time and be over half the way there. Thanks everyone!!

    I've had 3 more donations without receiving a PM to match it to. One was a very large donation that would receive many entries. Not sure if it is from someone who wanted to get in the raffle or just a very generous soul!! :) I can't enter you if I don't receive a PM with your details.     WOW! PJ fans are really the best!! Thank you all for your donations. There are still 4 days left and I am almost to my goal, I know we can do it!! Seeing all of the enthusiasm, I am thinking we may even be able to double my goal. That would be incredible!! With all of your support, I think we can do it!! Your support means everything to me and to everyone whose lives are affected by Crohns and Colitis. Thank you all for sharing your stories with me about how your lives have been affected. It is very touching and reminds me every day why I am doing this. I have my last big training run before the half marathon this Saturday morning. 10 Miles!! I can't wait to share with my team how much money we are raising for CCFA! Thank you all!
