While it is nice that customer service reps at venues are telling people this, it would be great if 10c were to confirm or deny it.

yeah, surprising and would love to hear either way if all the East Coast shows are going to be like this...I kinda find it hard to believe...but the show is later this week, you'd think they'd have this all hashed out by now...
I met my wife here...you can too! Don't lose hope!
  • i think this is great i just wish the organization would give up a head's up as to when set times are.

will they still be going on stage at around 9pm or will it be earlier now?
i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status

No!!! I am planning to drive last minute to the show and needed that extra 1.25 hours of opener as cushion in case of traffic.

But, I'd much prefer no opener these days like Mr. Bruce Springsteen does it.
  • They should take the Widespread Panic approach to shows. Set 1 - 30min Break - Set 2 - Encore.

For what it's worth, my friend works at the Consol. He confirmed the tour date weeks before it was officially announced. Just texted him and his response was:

No opener, PJ scheduled to take stage between 7:30 and 8:00. Being told show will end around 10:45-11:00

They have kids now, they gotta be in bed by 11.

    Also used by Rush.

"Oh yeah? Which president's on it?"
"Uh, all of them. They're having a party. Jimmy Carter's passed out on the couch."

Got the same response on FB from the venue about there being no opener.
