Great info Jodie. Nomads & Base hostels in Auckland would be my recommendations too. They're both in the CBD so not walkable to Western Springs but better for partying afterwards & it's easy to get back into town after BDO finishes.

Right, BDO Auckland(maybe Melbourne, maybe Sydney) 2014 for me. :)

    I will hopefully be at:

Auckland (if PJ are announced for that show tomorrow morning).
    Gold Coast
    Sydney 1 and 2

Though I would like to go to all of them.

Have the venues actually been announced for Melb, Syd, Ade, Perth? BDO site only shows me Auckland's and GC's.

IN for Melbourne, regardless of venue.

    Awesome info PB - Cheers!

Anyone who had the unfortunate experience of having to read my comments in the previous thread would know I am one of those that wasn't thrilled about this. But how the Eff could I not see them?!? Couldn't care less about anyone else though - a late start in the day for me.

Interesting comments made about how Pearl Jam have been working hard with the BDO crew to make sure it's done the right way.

So, anyone with experience getting tickets for BDO? Probably worth jumping on first thing when they go on sale.

    Melbourne for me. Maybe Adelaide.

I hope there are some sideshows because as it stands, PJ hasn't played an arena in Australia since '06. :(
