Ok, so I finally caved in and decided to make the flight and hotel for the show. Thanks to all the support from the tenclub!! It will be so worth it, never in a million years would he think I would do this. I even signed him up as a member here and havent told him yet...so I am using his account, he doesn't even know about. LOL..

Questions: Since this is for our 10th anniversary in two flippin days, I want to get advice on finding tickets on the day of the show.

1. Where is the best place for us to head to find some tickets?
2. How do you know they are legit? is there an app that you can scan the bar code and see if they are not fake? Reason I ask is for the OSU, Michigan game a few years ago we got tickets before the game and ours were legit and our friends...BUNK. they were out a Grand! Bummer

3. Best place to go the night before, i planned on us arriving Thurs-Sunday. Saturday is sleep day

Thanks for all your help! Even though I couldn't get tickets before, it will be a blast and a great memory.

At the pre-parties there should be some extras floating around. Also, as the date gets closer, you will see people on the board start selling extras - so keep checking back here from time to time

If they ever announce the tour I'd like to think some of the wacky prices on stub hub would come down. But from the looks of it this tour could also be only 10-15 shows tops, so who the hell knows anymore. The day of show is always a good time to keep your eyes peeled ;)

The week of the show the prices on stubhub will plummet as people get desperate to shed their extras. Especially those with "hard" paper tickets, as opposed to paper tickets. E-tickets can get sold right up to show time, but the paper tickets need to be sold on stubhub 3 days before the show so they can be overnighted.

I am living this personally with Gaslight Anthem tickets for this weekend at Stone Pony. This show sold out in minutes and prices on stubhub were high right up until last week. Of course I had a friend who waited until Monday to drop out, and now I have an extra I am trying to get rid of.

Same boat here, flight and hotel but no ticket. I have an extra London 10c ticket to trade for Chicago 10c ticket... my fan club number is 113xxx, so it will be kick ass seat....
