Harvest Moon - Wedding song help

Hi everyone,

I'm getting married next month. I have turned my fiance Katie into a big PJ fan since an early date seeing them in 2010 in Hartford together. We decided that PJ needed to be a part of the wedding and asside from Yellow Ledbetter being the last song that will be played at our wedding, we want Harvest moon as our first dance song. Problem we are having is we want PJ's cover of it. Does anyone know the best place to find a good digital version of it? I need to get a digital version to the DJ and am hoping to find the clearest one & best version.

Thanks for your help. We'll be married in late June and wll be starting the honeymoon at Wrigley. Looking forward to celebrating with you all there.

    we used the version from philly 05 for our wedding song, but I can't find my version of it anywhere. If I do, i'll let you know

    Great song choice!

    What you could do is find the version you like on YouTube and copy the URL. Then go to www.youtube-mp3.org and paste it. Click "convert" then download it to your computer. It will be in mp3 format.

    Either the Hamilton '05 or Ottawa '05 versions are great live versions. Or you could just go with Neil's original version. Neil's Harvest Moon was my wedding song back in '97 before PJ covered. It's a great song for fall weddings with a full Harvest moon.

    Funny story. "Harvest Moon" was also our wedding song (Sept 1995). Only problem was that my Scranton, PA future-in-laws insisted on a live polka band instead of a DJ. Polka band opted to not practice song in advance and just sort of winged it. :fp:

    Hilarity ensued. I think my wife is still pissed at them, but she'll never forget their rendition...

    Thanks everyone. I will check out those versions. Seems like they covered it a lot during the '05 tour. I have the Atlantic City boots somewhere. Need to dig those up and give them a listen as I think it was covered there.

    I think Hamilton is pretty good too. You can also check out Portland 06' with Sleater Kinney singing back up if you are into them.
