OK. Follow my steps please.

1. Google Jeff Ament
2. On the result page, select the category Images under the Google search box (it's the one containing the keywords, in your case jeff ament).
3. While you're under Images, you'll be able to see and select whichever you really like (click on it, then click on View original image).
4. Copy the URL address (the address on the top) of the new window (a window in which only the full-sized jeff ament image is shown).
5. Now, on the pearl jam forum when you are ready to post a reply click on Img button (is one of the options under the Subject along with Quote etc).
6. Inside the Img brackets paste your previously copied URL address. Then hit submit. You must be able to see your image.

PS: Your image cannot be uploaded if it's bigger than 640x480.
