    I like Parachutes, maybe not where it fits on that album but I really enjoy the song. Light Years has better lyrics and it affects me a little more overall. Both great

    Great version of Parachutes, hadn't seen it before. Love the song.

    Lights Years has to be one of my favourite top 10 songs ever though!

    I love Parachutes but agree with this sentiment. Would love to hear Parachutes live. Light Years I got in Berlin 10 and it was incredible, especially on the Roskilde 10th anniversary.

    Yeah man, you are the inquisitive, quantitative, over-analyzing, analytical one in the forum. I am guessing soon more complicated analysis questions from you are in the pipeline for the forum.

    If you take the 2 best and 2 worst song from each album, assign a grade to each song from 1-100, take the logarithm of square root of the grades, can you reach an econometric equation?

    I agree light years as it is a classic in my opinion. definitely one of their best. I really love parachutes too though. lyrically, musically it is so unique and creates such a light and floating free feeling. I love how ed's voice sounds on parachutes.
