I have to choose my vacation. Soon. Others are waiting for me to choose the time I need off. They are being very patient, as am I, waiting for you to schedule these fall dates.

I need to be able to find a dog-sitter. My kids need to know when I will be gone. I have to clear the calendar with a few medical Doctors. I also need to be able to squirrel away a little coin to drop on your merch tables, not to mention the tickets. I'll need at least 6 more black T-shirts with your logo on them. Will need a hat, maybe a hoodie or two. Gotta pay the airlines to travel. I'll work a few overtime shifts in the meanwhile.

But please, for the love of Pete, tell me what dates to request off. And where you will be...

    Absolutely. We were supposed to have all of our vacation requests in some time ago and I had to ask for an exception while waiting for this announcement. Good thing I have seniority but still need to request soon. Additionally, I REALLY am needing something to look forward to. An announcement before Mother's Day would be nice. :D. If this tour is to start in September isn't 4 months a reasonable time frame for planning??? Come on please...

    +1 to this. If the rumours are true the tour will be from mid-Sept until Voodoo Fest. I took the last two wks of October off and will hopefully be able to move them if it doesn't work out.

    Canada 2011 tickets went on sale in I believe May, and those shows were in September. I think we'll know before July where they are playing.

    Think mid May early June for an announcement-at least based on the past announcements-3 months out is about right.
