who has been doing the programming 4 Pearl Jam radio?

Postby Big Bank Hank » Thu Mar 14, 2013 5:47 pm

this will not be complimentary, the last week or so they are playing the crap out of Even Flow and Jeremy my 2 least favorite songs on Ten and 2 of the most over played Pearl Jam songs ever, I listen to Pearl Jam radio, because I like the rare shit, honestly if I never heard either song again I would be cool with it as long as I could hear the rest of the catalog, so whoever is in charge of programming go back to mixing up the music like before or I will be ditching my XM subscription

I do listen to BB King's Bluesville, but no way in hell I am paying 20 bucks for that, and if they are going to be playing Even Flow, Jeremy and Daughter every hour, forget it, I am already burned out on those songs as it is, I rejoice when I get a boot or a concert video and there is no Even Flow, for such a mediocre song, the band has burned a bunch of us out on it, when we do those ultimate setlists most of the songs they are playing in heavy rotation on Pearl Jam radio, are not on our ultimate setlists, that should tell you something, if they are turning into a top 40 type Pearl Jam station, forget that I can spend my 20 bucks a month better

Right now they are playing "faithful" right after they played "Hail, Hail". It's good for my ears.

I do not like the unnecessary interruptions. It's new for me and I'm not adapting. :|

still won't get me to rate the songs any higher, do enjoy Mike McCready's guitar solos live on Even Flow, still only makes it the Tenth best song on Ten, unfortuately they mostly play the studio version on pearl jam radio, I did like Even Flow when they added the badass drum solos from Matt Cameron circa 2006 Gorge as an example, but they have taken that out of their recent live shows, and all I keep thinking every time they play it now is that they could of played a couple of badass rarities like Ghost and Marker In The Sand or Army Reserve instead and I would enjoy those much more
