Wrigleyville presale question

Postby nocode85 » Mon Feb 04, 2013 7:59 pm

Hey all,

I have a friend in the Chicago area who was able to find a coworker that lives in Wrigleyville and is getting access to the presale. This person does not plan to attend the show, and was willing to give me her presale code. My question is, does anyone know if these codes are transferrable like this? In other words, do I put her at any risk by trying to buy tickets by not actually being her? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Word is the codes are non-transferable and have been linked with the account holder's address so if your info doesn't match the account info linked to the presale code your order would likely be cancelled.

The code is completely transferrable. They do not check or verify your address, email or anything of the nature. Good luck and hope you get lucky! Be quick, the presale will go quick!

That is what it sounded like to me based on what I was told in the other ticket presale thread. I'm in the same situation as the OP except it's from a Cubs season ticket holder and am a bit nervous that it isn't going to work.

I'm wondering if maybe there is a difference between the Wrigleyville resident presale codes and the Cubs season ticket holder presale codes?
