Long shot for Long Road

I have just lost one of my closest friends from injuries sustained in a car accident. The pain is unbearable as many of you here would know. We have been friends for 27 years. It hurts like crazy. Its been an absolutely devastating week...

I am hoping for Long Road in one of the 5 shows I will be attending in Europe (2x Man;2x Ams and Prague).

I know tenclub must receive tons of these requests but hoping nevertheless. My friend was thinking of joining me in Amsterdam but circumstances dictated otherwise and he pulled out some time ago.

Been to 5 shows in my life and have never caught Long Road live.

Long shot like I said...

    Sorry for your loss...I too will be in AMSterdam for both shows and am really hoping for a Long Road opener for one of the shows. It makes me cry, but leaves me with a sense of serenity, and oddly enough, joy....

    Long Road was my first PJ song live and it's certainly one to open and close a few emotional wounds. I'm very sorry to hear about your friend and I hope if you get your wish that it brings you everything you expect it to... :(

    I have been to 11 shows and caught Long Road in New Orleans 2000. By far my favorite opener that i have seen live. Still haven't seen Release. That's what I am hoping for at De Luna.
    You'll see dragons after three or four.... I said YEAH!!!!!

    Thanks all of you for your kind words. It has been a very difficult time. I leave on Friday for a three week trip of a lifetime to Europe and there is a part of me that is still unable to come to grips with losing someone as close and special. He was not a big PJ fan but absolutely loved Daughter.

    Long Road, Come Back, Daaughter is going to be very emotional for me.

    Sorry to hear about your loss. Good luck getting Long Road. I haven't had the oppurtunity to see the full band perform it, but I saw Eddie play it solo last year.
