Ok,To everyone in the south lets flood the Ten Club Office with Play the South Post cards from wherever you are from in the south.I myself have already sent about 30 post cards in the last 2 months.If we can all get on board with this I think we will get our over due shows.Do not forget to put your name on your postcards please :geek:

    Sorry to intrude, don't want to interrupt the 'power to the people' and all that, but I see all over these boards about 'playing the south', which actual states are you guys referring too? How many have PJ missed off and not played for ages?

    I'm hoping for you guys that they come your way soon and I will be there! :D

    Tremendous idea! I'd support any kind of petition for the PJ impoverished! Scotland are overdue but the South is in their homeland and shouldn't be so neglected. I don't know why but I have a feeling that there will be a good half dozen shows down there in 2012 followed a similar number of East coast shows and then a West coast tour later finishing up in Seattle.
    Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    Texas (huge state) - 1 Festival show played in 09, other larger cities have not had a show since 2003
    Georgia - Has not had a show since 03
    Florida - Has not had a show since 08
    TN - Had 1 festival show in 08..other than that has not had a show since 03
    South Carolina - Last show was in 08

    Holy crap! I understand your frustrations now.. Australia has seen them more in the last decade then you guys.. Fingers crossed for you!

    The common theme is nothing since 03.

    MS and WV have never had a show.

    The last AL show in 03 and it was 40 degrees at an outside venue. The show ended cruelly with "one note ". They are due a do-over.

    Thanks.I had cancer and I know you can just never quit.EVER!! You might feel like it and get pissed. But you can NEVER EVER QUIT.When I was a kid I had a little sign on my desk that said "Winners never quit and Quitters never win." I guess I think about that more as an adult then I did as a kid. :geek:
