As of 2011 PJ has now played 45 US states at least once.

90% of the way to a major accomplishment as a band and it's fans.

The missing states are:

Alaska
New Hampshire
Delaware
Mississippi
West Virginia

Do you think playing the missing five would be a good accomplishment?

PLEASE remember that some of the viewers live in these states...be kind... :D

Yep, all 50 states would be a cool accomplishment.

The Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH is screaming for some Pearl Jam! Screaming I say!

I don't think it makes sense financially to go to those states. I mean they chose not to go there when they were the biggest band on the planet, and chose not to go there when they played every little club know to human kind when they were just starting.

At this point in their careers it just doesn't make any sense what so ever.

With that said I would love to see them hit all 50 and would love for the fans to get them.... just don't see it happening.

I'm surprised Ed never made it up to Alaska for either of his 'Into the Wild' tours. Seems like the perfect place to perform...

I'm all for it. Two of the states are near me (WV & Delaware). I can visit my mom in New Hampshire. Mississippi is one of the remaining two states I have not been to and Smoke a Bud in Alaska has been waiting a very long time.
Thanks to Pearl Jam, I have now been to every Canadian province.

NH...Boarders are blurrey in New England..Perhaps some love from our Brothers and Sisters in arms.. to our south.. is in order? C'mon..It's tax free!

DE...They have got great breweries in AK and NH too!...But just in case, there is Dogfish in my heaven too.

    WV...What Up Yo?...speak up!

    MS...Is anyone from Mississippi?...great beaches...cheap land...good fishing...dang

  • As far as Mississippi goes, there's a 12,000 capacity arena and a 10,000 seat outdoor venue right over the TN/MS line in a Memphis suburb called Southaven. Lots of bands play those places instead of dealing with the NBA schedule at the Forum in Memphis. The White Stripes played their last show ever at the amphitheater for it to count as playing in Mississippi.
