    I'm not talking shit man I am just pointing out how many times it has been posted and hopefully the next person who sees the video will see this thread (or the five thousand other ones) and not feel the need to post another topic about it. My apologies if anyone is offended: although I cannot possibly see how someone can take offense at me merely pointing out how many times this has been posted

    The funny thing is, those posts you listed are just from the past few days. I don't know if it showed up on some Web Soup show or something, because over the past few days everybody has come out of the woodwork to post it on this site, and the video is months old. When it first came out there were a bunch of posts, there has been some in between, but the past few days it's been like 3-4 a day.

    People are just getting a little annoyed by it. And nobody even looks to see if there is a thread, they just start their own, I guess assuming they're the only people to ever see this.

    No one ever checks on this site If something has been posted before. People just come running to the forum as soon as they see anything pearl jam related assuming they are the first people to ever see it.

    I appreciate it when people find interesting things and bring it to my attention but when things get posted as new topics all the time, good discussion threads about what ever it was don't happen. I'd rather join an ongoing discussion about an article i found and add to it then have a dozen posts with 3 replies in them.

    My Pet peave though is all the people who had to repost the daily link that was released on the countdown page of PJ20 every day. Everyone comes running to post it on the forum like they are special and are the only person who has access to pj20. Com. Fuckers. "shakes cane"

    This is a problem with almost every topic. It would help a lot if people would take a moment to check for a topic before posting. Everyone does not need their own thread...it really screws up conversations about a subject. Thanks.

    Get over it. I don't post very much and I'm not going to comb through 1000's of threads to see if someone has posted something before. If you don't like it don't click on it. Pretty simple. And as a mod, if you don't like it ax it. Don't berate someone who wants to contribute. I don't even know why I come here. The crybabying that goes on here is ridiculous :| .

    Well, there is a search function Ezo5000. You don't have to comb through thousands of threads. And over the past few days people have posted it while another thread about it was still on the first page. And another problem is that we sometimes don't know that's what it is when we click on it, several threads have simply been titled "Check This Out" and when we open it we're looking at the damn Ed sound-alike, AGAIN. It's worse than Spam.

    It is not "combing through 100's of threads" it is as simple as using the search function. See how many topics I posted that had the same vid? That took me less then a minute to find all of them, and if I can do it, so can anyone else. So what you said was a gross exaggeration in regards to the effort it takes to use the search function

    It clutters up the pages and as another previous poster said can be annoying. It's not berating people who want to contribute, it is keeping this site clean and by having minimal threads for a single topic it maximizes the potential for conversation, as it wouldn't be all over the place

    I think Slap was being sarcastic Kat, as to indicate that the numerous, repeated threads about the same subject and the frequency of how people post in short, little, tidbits of a thought, have made the forums become more of a "chat" type of medium rather than a "forum". (Setlist relay threads for example, can easily spawn 40-50 pages of "dicsussion" during a show...and I myself am guilty of posts like "Tremor Christ! NO WAY!", too!) Maybe you guys should look at a "chat room" type of function within the board, like FB has when your friends are online...

    Then again, even Chapstick has a Facebook page, so that might not be a good idea! ;)
