A request for a Prov Ticket......even if its a long shot

First let me say I am going to the Providence gig tomorrow with my wife and we are both stocked.

I'm not overly active on the board reading far more then I post these days. I have seen remarkable acts of kindness on this board so I thought I would throw this out and see what happens. I have a friend who adores Ed and has for the better part of 20 years she works a shit job in retail and struggles to keep two nickels to rub together. She would LOVE to see Ed it would make her summer! Given the mass exodus that is taking place because of the Bruins game I figured I would ask if anyone has a ticket there willing to part with anywhere in the building for cheap money maybe $25? I wish I could afford to pay more but PJ is tapping me out this year. I know I am not offering a lot of money for a ticket but you get the satisfaction of knowing that your ticket would be going to a true fan that would not be there if it wasn't for your kindness. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Regards,
Goose

I think the only chance you have of finding a $25 dollar ticket is at the venue about 20 minutes before Ed comes on.

Fingers crossed for you. There are a lot of people looking to move tickets because of the Bruins conflict. There just might be somebody willing.

I don't think my ticket buddy is bailing but on the off chance that he does I will keep you in mind.

  • I think you can do it. Seems like many people will be holding a worthless ticket on Thursday if they don't get what they can now. Just think of all of the people selling homes that are late on dropping the price. I know that the house I bought was listed for too much and the lady was very slow in realizing that she needed to drop the price and just days before the bank took her house I swooped in , scalped he,r and saved myself over a years salary on the price. Better get what you can before you can't get anything.( other than being pissed that you missed Ed to watch Vancouver win.)

I think you’re probably right but this friend would be coming from out of town I can't have her make the drive for a chance. I'm hoping there is someone out there who is thinking about eating the ticket who would rather see it go to a fan even if it is for such a small amount. Like I said I have seen remarkable things on this board and I do realize this too would be one. :D

I know someone who is looking to get rid of their pair...all they ask for in return is that you make a donation to a charity...(Making Strides)

PM me if you want further info.

I have two pairs of tickets from folks who bailed on me. Not the greatest seats but if I can't sell them by tomorrow, I'll give you one for free. Just meet at the venue around 5:00 p.m. or just before the show at around 8:00. I'm taking my 77 year old Dad and can't deal with hanging out front trying to sell these. Also, with the Bruins game, folks will be in the same predicament. PM me and let me know if you're interested.

Thanks so much for all the possibilities so far have a couple of leads but nothing is definite yet. Anyone else want to help a real fan who truly can't afford the show get inside the building location matters not. Remarkable things always happening around here got to love it. I could possibly do a trade of some-kind if that interests anyone.

Have made a couple posts already but no luck so far...I am also looking for 1 ticket, can't afford two, and would love to go. Also, a 100% genuine, huge fan. I'm 21 and this would be my 24th time seeing Eddie. Would prefer ten club. I could put down 75 and make it a hundred for a pair if you want to team up on that.

im sure you can find a ticket for 25 bucks. i once sold a 5th row seat for 20 bucks. got to the portland show late, picked up my 10c tix, had 5th row, needed to unload the other one. only offer i got was 20 bucks. have faith. people would rather sell for something than eat it. lots of hockey losers out there who r bailing on an epic show for a game that u can just DVR and watch when you get home.

if i had tickets to a game and eddie was on TV, i wouldnt stay home to watch it, i would DVR it and watch it when i got home. same thing

Thanks for the offer man a couple hours ago I may have taken you up on that. I am no longer in the market as I have had my request more than fulfilled! If you have $75 to spend you'll get a ticket just go to ppac or the pre-party there will be plenty of tix to be had and for less then $75 too it will be a rear buyers market. Good luck man I know you'll get a ticket.
