The Wishlist Foundation is sponsoring the development of “All Those Yesterdays: a 2011 Pearl Jam Fan Yearbook,” which is a physical memento and tribute to Pearl Jam fans, the music, the tour memories, and Pearl Jam's history over the past 20 years.
You, the FANS, are a dynamic, interesting, & diverse part of Pearl Jam’s 20-year history. Not unlike a high school yearbook, our book will have several unique sections to thumb through, and one of them will be “Class Photos.” Well guess what, YOU are a class member! By being a Pearl Jam fan, you are an important part of their history, and we want to honor each and every one of you!
We hereby invite ALL Pearl Jam fans to submit a portrait-like photo (a.k.a. “mugshot”) of yourself to be included in the yearbook’s “Class Photos” section!!!
Submission of your photo and information is totally ***FREE*** so just follow the steps below (and pay CAREFUL attention to steps #5 & 7). DO NOT SUBMIT A PHOTO UNTIL YOU READ *ALL* OF THE INFO HERE... IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS PROPERLY, WE CAN NOT USE YOUR PHOTOS!

1) Please READ the steps below before actually doing them. You will need to take a proper photo, have it ready for upload, and have the requested information gathered / ready for submission.
2) Go to https://www.yearbookordercenter.com/ and enter order # 13732, then click “Continue.”
3) Click “Upload Photos” on the right, then click “Yes” to continue to eShare.
4) Enter your info, read and agree to the terms & conditions, and click “Browse for Images.”
5) Select your personally-owned portrait from your hard-drive or other media. GUIDELINES:
-we strongly recommend you take a brand new pic, so that it’s current and meets these specifications
-shoot it with the camera settings on HIGH RES/LARGE format
-take it in good lighting and make sure it's focused, so it doesn't look "grainy" or "blurry"
-use a high quality ORIGINAL image, meaning UNCOMPRESSED or low-compression (NO pics downloaded off the web, including Facebook)
-cropped loosely in a vertical (portrait) position
-at least 900 pixels wide by 1350 pixels tall AFTER cropping, the larger the better
-DO NOT USE A PHOTO THAT IS TOO SMALL & TRY TO "RESIZE" IT LARGER, the quality of the "new" photo will not be good enough
-you should be the ONLY person in the photo
-it should be relatively recent... we're not looking for your 3rd grade elementary school pic with your front teeth missing
-head and shoulders only, facing front, hands should not be showing
-wearing appropriate and tasteful attire
-taken in front of a solid-colored background, if possible
-cross between a passport photo and a yearbook pic, SMILE
-do NOT crop too tightly, as we will need some room to edit for uniformity
-photos that do not meet the above criteria can not be used in the yearbook
-learn more about image size & quality here: http://www.microscope-microscope.org/im ... lution.htm, but disregard the grid at the bottom, because we will be aiming to print at a 300 DPI/PPI resolution
6) Click “OK” to confirm the upload.
7) Fill out the form beneath your photo with the following information:
-In the Grade(s) of students field, type in your country.
-In the Student(s) shown in picture field, type in your full name, followed by (mugshot). Example: “Colleen Palacios (mugshot)”
-In the Description field, type in your city & state / province, and OPTIONALLY: your TenClub username.
8) Finally, click “Submit Image Information.”
9) Deadline for class photo submissions: end of summer. We will contact you within a week if your mugshot did not work, so keep an eye on your email, Facebook, and TenClub messages. If you DO NOT hear from us, that means your photo DID WORK.

Your photos and information will be kept strictly confidential and will ONLY be used for this yearbook project. The only people with access to them are the Wishlist Foundation’s yearbook staff. Although we originally hoped to have the books distributed in time for the PJ20 celebration over Labor Day weekend, we decided to push back production so that the festivities will be INCLUDED in the yearbook. Since we are now aiming for publishing the yearbook this fall, we are re-opening mugshot submissions through the summer. While we *hope* that people who make submissions will also be interested in buying the final product, it is not mandatory. Again, your participation is *FREE*, and it will cement your name and face in the tangible pages of Pearl Jam’s history!

Alrighty folks, can't believe we're doing this again, but... NEW DEADLINE: May 1st, 2011.
Per usual, the presence of a deadline has caused 3 things-
1. Mad dash to the finish line with a BIG influx of mugshots.
2. Lack of time for those ppl to re-submit if their pic didn't work.
3. Private messages to us, begging for more time. "Can I PLEASE have until next week, my camera will be fixed by then!" -or- "I'm on safari in Africa without my laptop or a USB cord, messaging you from a public PC in a hut. Will there be another extension?!"

I also wanna give a big shout out and THANK YOU to the "L" family of 4 from Australia who submitted their mugshots today... beautiful pics, met ALL the specs. Great job!
Unfortunately, the majority of recent submissions are again too small. PLEASE follow the step 5 directions for sizing (AND the step 7 directions for info). Emails are going out soon to those whose pics we couldn't use. But don't give up!
Just submitted my mugshot for the yearbook. Please let me know if it meets all the guidelines. Also where do I go to buy a yearbook? I want one of these once they're available. *Disregard my last question, I found the link to make my donation*
