*GET EV TO THE BASIE THREAD (NYC / NJ)*

All NJ / NY area ten clubbers!

As you know the Aussies asked for EV to add a couple Perth shows to his tour and after the idea got popular, it became true! So why don't we try to do something like this for the EV East Coast tour that's hopefully coming up!

In Red Bank (NJ) there is the legendary Count Basie theater! Bruce has played there many times, Counting Crows, Bon Jovi (ewwww), and Greg Allman! It's a nice theater and the roof would be blown off the place if Ed came! So why don't we try for this! C'mon New Yorkers / Jersians! I know we can do it!

    red bank would be sweet...since i live in toms river!!!! count basie would be awesome!
    it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

    Nice man! I am right in the Colts Neck / Eatontown Area! My grandparents live in Toms River!

    i know its no longer in the nj/belmar area, but are you planning on hitting up the team mccready thing in nyc on march 26th?

    I'd go see Ed just about anywhere in the NY/NJ area.....so why not Red Bank!?

    Count basie is a great place to see a live show. We have to make this happen.

    I too live in Red Bank, a quick walk to see EV at Count Basie would be a dream come true. Seems like a bunch of people are from the Red Bank area as well, who's down to get together at some point?

    I love the idea of a red bank show since i'm in belmar. i was at the njpac show and the acoustics were awesome,however i have not been to a show at the count basie in red bank. Can anyone comment on the sound compared to njpac? Either way as long as Ed is in NJ or the surrounding area.....i'm STOKED!!! :D
