yeah i was gonna say... they are also one of my favorite bands. you should get me backstage or something."If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music." KV Jr.0 -
yes an actualy member of Phish, we went to H.S. together. They actually dated while she was in h.s. and they have been married for a while and have a couple of kids.0

I am a big Genesis fan. They are my parents favorite band, and while I was growing up Genesis to them was what Pearl Jam is to me. I grew up and listened to Genesis as an adult, and I realized that the words and melodies had been ingrained in me and had become a part of my DNA somehow. When I hear Foxtrot, Selling England and the Lamb it takes me back to my childhood...I feel innocence and youth and can see my parents sitting around the dinning room table playing cards with friends, with pot smoke in the air, and the sounds of Genesis on the turntable....I remember a time before my parents divorce...before the realization of the hardships in the world...and when I felt completely safe...It was when my love for music started. I realize that this is the Porch Forum, but it is relevant to me because Pearl Jam is the only other band that's music takes me to a specific time and place in my life and allows me to actually feel my past.Post edited by Corey Lynn on
