Seattle alt country goddess Brandi Carlile. She's got an amazing voice and I think her and Ed would compliment each other well.

In the mid-nineties I thought Richie Havens would be a good opening act for them. He's an awesome storyteller. His off-tempo version of Working Class Hero with Richie and Ed would be amazing.
