This, exactly. A well-flowing bootleg like NY MSG 1,2 - 2010 or London-2009 makes you feel like I can go miles & miles.
I am also not into weightlifting but I have a few dumbbells at home but from what I gather, you cannot run the speedy setlist with weightlifting. It has to be slow to mid-tempo so you feel the weight on your body better.
This and this. I love bootlegs for long runs and bike rides. The warm up song gets you moving (opener...release, of the girl, long road etc...) followed by the fast paced songs to kick it into high gear then mid tempo songs to go for the long haul. I also find its often more about what the song does for me emotionally than the tempo...I've had some killer sprints to NAIS!! For weights I like the Vic show or Katowice 2000 lately. I agree it has to be more laid back songs to get full benefit from the weights. I use an interval timer so I don't have to count. I just lose myself in the music and keep moving. Ukelele songs is great for yoga as is some of ITW (long nights, touloumme, end of the road). Also love hard to imagine, footsteps, oceans, fatal, soon forget, sleight of hand and hold on among others for yoga.5/3/92 Omaha, NE

I guess Yield on repeat could keep me running forever and ever

But Given To Fly, WMA, Severed Hand and Army Reserve are some of the tracks on my runningplaylist that speeds me up0 -
Forgot to mention... Love it when I feel like I have nothing left to give, I'm spent and must stop but the encore opens up to those first notes of Go! That can produce an adrenaline rush that is rivaled by nothing else. SOLAT is inspiring when you hit the wall too.5/3/92 Omaha, NE
