PJ Goalie Mask

Time to have some fun...

I'm a hockey goalie and I'm going to get my mask painted.

My brother paints masks for professional athletes, you can check out his work here:

I want to go with a PJ themed mask and I'm open for suggestions. I plan on having the stick-figure as well as the Riot Act skull on the back plate of the helmet.

Colour Scheme of my equipment:
- predominantly red and black
- accent colours are white and silver

I've been sifting through the concert posters and could use some input here...

I'll post pictures of the final product and convince my brother to do re-prints if there are any other goalies out there ;)

    That is a great idea - black mask - blue dragons on each side (http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/37447). with the Pearl Jam lettering from the "GET RIGHT" shirt in silver in the middle. Little red flaming riot act skull on the back. Done. Excuse me if the topic excites me, but I am a goalie too (or used to be in a past life) and this sounds awesome. Congrats to your brother that is some sick work...what is goin' on on Raycroft's mask though? A little busy for my taste.

    OR - the logo off the Killer T dead center in red

    you could try to incorporate the below ames art work into it some how...(instead of a rocket, you could use a hockey stick....)

    Sorry, I've been hiatus for a little while. I'm working on the imagery this week and will send some mock-ups once I have them.

    Yeah the Raycroft helmet needs some background to the story...
    The Avalanche asked my brother to create a practice helmet so he messed around a little bit not thinking it would ever be worn in a game.

    Raycroft ended up picking it for his game helmet :)

    BTW, keep an eye out for LaBarbera's (LA Kings) new Metaliica themed mask

    i definitely think the skull from the Chicago '03 poster would be sweet!

    red and black just like your colors and the riot act skull on the back would tie in perfectly... THINK ABOUT IT :D

    This took much longer than expected but I have settled on the design (thanks to everyone for their suggestions)...

    One side will have the Riot Act Skull:

    BTW, can anyone can direct me to a digital version of the graphic?

    On the chin will be the stick figure

    BTW, I really like the Chicago 03 image (http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/1733) and may try to sneak it in, perhaps on the back plate of the mask.

    I think that the riot act skull would be pretty cool. It's tough to choose from so much great artwork.

    your brother does awesome work, I have his Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup artwork signed by all the Red Wings.
