How do I post a pic in the threads? After I press the Img button, what do I put in between? Do the pics have to be a certain size?
Still can't believe I met Mike Mccready at the Guggenheim and got a pic with him!!!!!

  • Have your picture uploaded onto the interwebs to somehwere like flickr or some such place. Place the web address of the image between the posts, making sure it is no higher than 480 px by something else wide (I forget exactly.

    For example to see this:
    president-bush-eats-kitten-1259.jpg

    simply place the web address : http://repairstemcell.files.wordpress.c ... n-1259.jpg

    between the [ img ] [ /img ] things

    Yaaaaay!

I'm on a mac I use photobucket, upload your own images or search under find stuff
under each pic is a list of 4 options, the img is the bottom option, left click mouse, highlite code, commamd c to copy then go to the thread right click to see type line then command v, the code comes up hit preview to be sure it is right size no bigger than 640x 480 once you get the hang of it its easy :D

Is it a gif file & how much kb size is it? There's a max limit when uploading an animated photo.

it is a .gif file and the size is 114,447 bytes, and dimensions are listed as 90 x 120 pixels.

hmm, guess PJ.com isn't accepting the bytes size. usually when i upload a pic that is too big, i get a message that PJ.com has resized it. wasn't receiving it this time around so i figured i was just doing something wrong.

If it's a animated gift over 100 x 100 pixels & over a certain kb size (I forget what their max was when I tried to add a kick ass Peter Griffin animated gif which didn't work), it won't work at all.

Edit: Crap, I'm using flickr. Click the Img thing on here. I click "share this" on flickr and choose the html and I've also tried it by just copying the url (it says it can't determine the size when I try that). Anybody have any ideas?
