A Squirrell on Waterskiis

In my next life, I want to be a squirrell on waterskis
I want to wear a little red helmet when I work
and get paid in peanuts
I will hold my tail up high
when I skate over the water
And bask in the adoration of a thousand 1st graders
who say that I am the coolest thing they've ever seen
and who beg to pet me
and who want to take me home
to show their dad
to make him smile
And I want to go back to my very nice cage
replete with tree branches
and rope swings
and salt licks
and other delightful things to chew on
and chew on those, instead
