Question about ticket drops for Toronto

When tickets are released back for sale, is it typically through ticketmaster only or through the venue box office, or both?
I'm looking for a strategy to get seats for Toronto night 2, ahead of time, as I will not be able to hang around the ACC on the day of the show looking = begging for tickets.

Boy, do I miss the days of lining up at the Jean Machine store in Sherway Gardens to get concert tickets.

Any insight?

    There have been tickets dropping through TM since the shows went on sale. Keep checking the site. If it says 'Not many left', it means there are a couple tickets available, though they will usually be just singles. And obviously if you happened to be at the box office at the right time you could get them there as well. So the short answer is both :smiley:

    Toronto Night 2 at the moment say's there's "No Tickets Right Now" . But for Night 1, "Not Many Left". "Not Many Left" means there are tickets available right now. Either folks are hoarding, canceled tickets due to money problems etc.. But yes, they are still available. Yesterday I was able to pull up a single ticket for Night 1 in section 318. My friend also yesterday pulled up a ticket in section 310. Also add the status keep changing for these 2 nights since Saturday if you take a notice.

    Unlike MSG .. http://www.ticketmaster.ca/search?tm_link=tm_header_search&user_input=pearl+jam+new+york&q=pearl+jam+new+york .. for day's the status hasn't changed for both nights. Both say "No Tickets Right Now".

    Good luck if you wanna try the Ticketmaster online route.

    Just to add to this...if you can get a single ticket....GET IT. Get in the building. Chances are, you can switch seats with someone so you can sit near a friend or whatever.

    Thanks....good point. My wife already squashed the idea of sitting separately.

    Thank you! i was almost starting to consider stubhub. Just proves to others out there that its worth holding out
