The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

December 6 is also Nikolaus in Germany. Children clean their shoes and put them outside the door in the night of the 5th and find either candy and little toys or just a needle tree twig (if they were bad) in them the next morning :)

    And I adore Dalí too!

I was actually going to say something about this but I totally forgot. (Too busy watching Randy Rhoads videos, I guess.) And last night I mentioned my birthday to someone and he said "Oh, that's St. Nick's Day."

I share a birthday with Elvis Presley, David Bowie and Stephen Hawking.

And more than likely at least one of the ~500,000 members of the 10 Club.

He had a hell of a scene stealing performance in Django Unchained. Oddly enough, his 50 Shades daughter has my birthday.

I have the same bday as PJ fan Susan Sarandon, Derick Rose of Vedder's bball team and Jered Weaver of my Angels.

Layne Staley. As a musician myself this is the only one I'm genuinely excited about sharing a birthday with.

As a lifelong Red Sox fan sharing a bday with the great Carl Yastrzemski would be second.

    Some other notables include:

    John Lee Hooker
    Ty Burrell
    Kristen Wiig
    Randall Cobb
    Giada De Laurentiis

I agree! Tori Amos is also on the list but I'm really not a fan so I choose to leave her off.
