Marlins get Manny Ramirez in Trade?

Possiblity, but consider the Marlins total payroll is $21 Million-ish, and Manny's payroll is a WHOOPPPPINGGG $18 million. I doubt it

    alright, just read an article on espn.com....

    manny went public and flat out said, "the red sox don't deserve me." i bet you we wake up tomorrow AM and he is wearing another jersey.

    you can't keep a guy like that around the locker room in the middle of a playoff race.

    Au contraire.......Manny has been bitching about a trade for the last 3 years and the Red Sox have won 2 world series in that timeframe. There will always be " Manny being Manny " in Boston. They have to be used to it by now!!

    i don't know, i can take some shit for a certain amount of time and then i'm done with it. maybe boston finally has had enough of "manny being manny" (i really hate that phrase).

    The problem is that only certain teams could pick up his BIG contract. Boston would really be stupid to let him go , even if he does want out. You just cant replace that presence of him and big papi back to back like that in the lineup. IMO the only possible trade that could happen is if Boston threw in the towell for this season, got a boatload of prospects from FLA, and was looking forward to developing these guys for next season. I look for Boston to wait until they are subpar, drop ALL big contracts, and develop their young guys.

    eh, she's mediocre. I like her better than Kevin Kennedy. I usually put it on Mute if the game is on Fox or I don't tune in until after they are finished. I am not a fan of the Fox broadcasts.
