I know they've been around for a few years now although i just heard of them recently. Latest album "Out in the Storm" just came out, real good. They have a 90's vibe to them like Belly, Juliana Hatfield, or The Breeders.

Waxatchee fantastic in London last night, got all of Tigers Blood (which I think is her best album yet) and majority of Saint Cloud, plus a couple of Plains numbers. Favourite gig of the year so far I reckon, as I’ve never seen her live before.

cool. I haven't listened to her new album yet but I do like her latest single, Ice Cold. Don't know/can't remember if she's played in philly this year yet.

It’s so worth listening to. Tour hits Fillmore Philly on Sept 7 and 8, has Snail Mail in support too. Clashes somewhat with PJ of course, if you’re going to both PJ Philly shows, but if you went on the night off that would be a strong 3 night run!eeriepadave said:Planet of Sound said:Waxatchee fantastic in London last night, got all of Tigers Blood (which I think is her best album yet) and majority of Saint Cloud, plus a couple of Plains numbers. Cool. Well don’t have a ticket for Saturday yet but definitely gonna be there. Sunday would work perfectly. Snail mail is pretty good too. I think she’s from or near the Philly area f I’m not mistaken.Planet of Sound said:

Don't know/can't remember if she's played in philly this year yet.picked up a ticket on stubhub for like $20 (not including fees). Good/fun show. Snail Mail was also pretty good.I think they played every song off Tigers Blood (at least she said they were going to). Not in order though. Also she looked a lot like Alanis Morrssette last night with the hair and face, kinda. Didn't know Jeff Tweedy's kid is their drummer. His name is Spencer.8/28/98- Camden, NJ
