TONIGHT! (6/16) Cornell Tribute Show (Las Vegas)

Good day all,
Next Friday, June 16th, there will be a Chris Cornell tribute show held in Las Vegas at Adrenaline Sports Bar benefitting the Nevada chapter of the National Suicide Prevention Line. I will be joining a group of 40+ amateur and professional musicians from the Las Vegas area, collaborating on songs from Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Audioslave, and more. This will be a truly unique event, as most of us have never performed together and will be performing these songs just for this event. There is no cover, but donations will be accepted, and there will also be a raffle with prizes including a brand new guitar, recording studio packages, band related items, and more. If you reside or will be in Las Vegas next Friday, please come out in support of some fantastic musicians and a worthy cause. Details are at the link below. Thank you!

    Had our first night of rehearsal this evening, and I think this event is really going to be something special. A lot of talent and emotion in the room tonight...hope to see some of you there. If you are able make it out, please come say hello. :)

    We had our 2nd night of rehearsals yesterday, and I'm truly humbled and excited to be performing at this event. We've got 50+ musicians participating, and a setlist of 24 songs spanning Chris Cornell's career being played. I will be playing drums on "Fell on Black Days", "Blow Up the Outside World", and "Birth Ritual." Hope you'll tune in! :)

    Tonight's the night folks - if you're in Vegas, hope you can make it out! If not, a link to the live stream is in my post above. We had some local news coverage this morning, and Peter Cornell even sent a message to our organizer, thanking him for putting this event together in his brother's memory and that he was sorry he wouldn't be able to make it from Los Angeles. Again, this event is FREE, although donations are encouraged and there will be raffles to raise funds, 100% of which goes to the Nevada Suicide Prevention Line. None of the event sponsors, staff, or performers are charging or making a cent, so it's truly for a worthy cause and a celebration of Chris' music. Red carpet begins at 7 pm, and the music starts around 8:45-9 pm.
