A Fenway Seating Question

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a StubHub purchase, but I'm a little hesitant. The listing says "Limited or Obstructed View"... the pair of tickets is in the 1st row of "LF Pavilion Reserved 20"... somewhere else they're listed as "PR20" Looking at a seating chart, they don't look like bad tickets... best I can tell, they're about as high as the green monster, just into foul territory down the left field line. I think this would provide a pretty good view of the stage, not to mention being a lot closer than people seated in the stands closer to home plate. Why would this be "obstructed"? Lighting or speaker rig maybe?

Because of the angle you may have trouble seeing Matt and Boom. Otherwise you should be OK.

You would have a better deal going with the infield grandstand 15 row 2 for $175 imo but its up to you. Your angle would be worse then this depending on your seat/row number. image

Thanks PJNB. Is that PR20? Did you get this from a website that offers "Virtual Seating" (aka a view form your seat)?

The pair I'm looking at are listed as "Row A, Seats 1 & 2". I liked the sound of first row and (I believe) aisle seats.

No I just googled fenway concert under images and it popped up. My guess is they are either section 16 or 18 Pavilion Reserved.

Use this website to give you an idea of your view and compare it to where the stage is going to be. Go to Pavillion reserved to start out. The good news is your seats are closer to homeplate, are an aisle seat and are front row. Seems great to me if you can live with the angle and the possibility that the sound goes right past you since you are almost in line with the speakers.

Also googling fenway concert images I found one that was in the right field though I can not post it for some reason. Check it out yourself and it is a mirror image of your seats and you can even see your seats from this pic. Let me know if you need any help.

I had obstructed view tickets at Fenway for a Yankee game. It was weird but I got used to it. Bottom line... if I leaned back in my seat I could see home plate but not second base and if I leaned forward I could see second base but not home plate. So you had to pick and choose what you wanted to look at. I didn't let it spoil the day. Improvise, adapt, and overcome.

Will never play Fenway again ever. Spend the $ and get as close as you can. Enjoy it as before long we are all 6 feet under. You won't be worrying about the extra $ then.
