    Thank you all. The croc fairy didn't come last night and no new grays. I appreciate the wishes as I left the house this morning at 5:45 this morning (everyone else was still dreaming) so you were the first ones to wish me a happy b-day.

    Hopefully my day is filled with fun. No work shall be done at work. It will be rubber band wars and making fun of the rookie who is still in his mandatory 1 year hazing period with me. That will proceed the gym and destroying my back, biceps and forearms to pure exhaustion. The night if all goes well should be waxing the car/playing pinata/getting fireworks on my birthday. A few drinks for this misses and birthday plans should be completed.

    I did tell my 6 year old daughter the old age fairy was coming for me last night and that I wasn't going down without a fight. Her eyes got all big when I told her I was going to wait and ambush the fairy and stuff her crocs where the sun don't shine when she came for me. I let her know if I come home from work and my hair isnt gray it means I won the battle and the fairy flew away after being beaten down. I can't wait to get home and for her to see my hair the same to see what she says.

    And the ploy with my daughter is on. My wife had the kids call me to wish me a happy birthday. My daughter asked if I saw the fairy. I told her yes and I won but my knuckles are a little bloody from the fight. I got a little of the dust on me but kept it off for the most part. So now I need to stop at the party store to get some fake blood and some gray hair color spray for a streak or two. The fear is though this will bite me in the ani when her birthday comes and she wants to sleep in my bed so I can keep the fairy away from her. She does not want to go to 2nd grade in the fall (its no fun she says, 1st grade rocks) and might think she can stay 6 another year.
